Middle Atlantic Products said it now offers SignalSafe cords on all power products at no extra cost to customers. The cables are designed to reduce radiated AC magnetic fields in AV systems that induce noise in signal wiring.
Middle Atlantic Products said it now offers SignalSafe cords on all power products at no extra cost to customers. The cables are designed to reduce radiated AC magnetic fields in AV systems that induce noise in signal wiring.
SignalSafe Power Cords feature the company’s tightest AC power cord conductor twist rate and are manufactured with heavy 14-guage conductors. The result is an AC magnetic field strength five times less than that of standard power cords and significantly less than loose wires in Steel EMT Conduit, says the company.
Signal cables, which the company says are highly sensitive to magnetically induced noise, can be conveniently cable-managed with a 1/2-inch separation from system power with full confidence that signal integrity will be preserved.
The full suite of Middle Atlantic’s power products now ships with SignalSafe technology, including the IsoCenter Rackmount Isolation Transformer, UPS units, vertical and rackmount power strips, and multiple lengths of IEC and cable/satellite cords.
