Premier Mounts announced its latest offering in mounting solutions, the Premier Power Line of motorized mounts. Designed for the North American market, the new line is a product of the collaboration between Premier Mounts and United Kingdom-based Future Automation.

“In addition to universal product solutions, we’ll tap into Future Automation’s capabilities to develop custom projector and flat-panel mount solutions,” said Len Dozier, founder and president of Premier Mounts, in a statement.

According to Dozier, the Premier Power Line is scheduled for launch in early 2010 and will focus on keeping technology out of sight yet accessible. With an emphasis on solutions for pro AV, OEM, and vertical market segments such as hospitality, retail, and education, the first products in the line include motorized projector mounts and a remote-controlled universal swingout arm.

The PWR-MDP1 and PWR-MDP3 motorized projector mounts are expected to enable homeowners and businesses to hide projectors out of sight and make them appear at the touch of a button. According to the company, the motor fits snug within an enclosed housing unit that can be installed within most ceiling structures. The automated PWR-MDP lifts include integrated universal mounting points and are available in two sizes to accommodate projectors up to 110 pounds.

The PWR-3765S remote-controlled swingout arm allows users to find their optimal viewing angle remotely for a couch or chair. The arm features extension up to 90 degrees with smooth action and variable speed.
