The Sextant Group has hired Peter D. Berry as a senior consultant, opening the firm’s new office in the New York metropolitan area. The opening of the Sextant Group’s sixth office enhances the firm’s national presence, according to the company.
Sextant officials say Berry is well known in both the New York region and the international technology consulting industry. He’s had significant experience designing for the education, cultural, and public sectors, and has lived and worked on four continents. Born in London, Berry is a recognized expert in audiovisual and integrated communication systems design. He spent 19 years as a designer, integrator, and principal-level audiovisual consultant for international engineering, design, planning, and consulting firms. His projects have spanned major metropolitan transit systems in North America, convention centers in Asia and the Middle East, cathedrals in the United Kingdom, museums on both sides of the Atlantic, and high-visibility assignments for banking, government, and academic institutions.
