JBL VTX V25 Line Array
At its core this is a driver innovation revolving around JBL’s D2 dual diaphragm dual voice coil compression driver. The goal was a dramatic increase in high frequency sound pressure levels within a standard footprint and with a significant reduction in weight. There’s no summing up this project in a paragraph, because in addition to the D2, the VTX line benefits from JBL’s dual voice coil, dual magnetic gap Differential Drive technology, as well as the company’s patented Radiation Boundary Integrator. There were innovations in materials and the relative placement and composition of elements.
