Clear-Com’s FreeSpeak II 1.9GHz and 2.4GHz systems operate in multiple world-wide license-free bands from 1.897-1.933GHz and 2.4GHz bands, respectively. The 2.4GHz system has a separate yet similar set of system components as the 1.9GHz version, allowing users to co-operate a mix of 1.9GHz and 2.4GHz beltpacks and antennas thus increasing both the quantity of wireless users and cell roaming area. The choice of using two bands in the system works seamlessly within the base station or matrix intercom systems. The FSII-BP (for 1.9GHz operations) and FSII-BP24 (for 2.4GHz operations) beltpacks feature five intercom channels, internal antennas, “Listen Again” memory replay of the last 15 second of audio, technician’s flash light on the underside, and realtime battery monitoring with the Li-Ion battery delivering 18 hours of continuous talk time.
