The HD-XSP from Crestron supports the latest 7.1 digital formats including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio, with advanced HDCP management. The HD-XSP has professional DSP and input/ output mixing built in, enabling 2-channel down mix of 7.1 content to a separate stereo zone in the facility. Alternatively, microphones, playback sources, and codec signals can be mixed and played over a room’s surround system as well. The onboard DSP provides equalizers, delays, crossovers, tone control, and compression for various outputs. The HD-XSP includes full input connectivity for all types of digital and analog sources including Blu-ray players, HDTV receivers, game consoles, computers, media servers, and mobile devices. Additional specialized inputs and outputs are provided to facilitate integration with system switchers, matrix routers, microphone mixers, and teleconferencing codecs. HDMI connectivity allows for video passthrough to a downstream display.
