Nortek Security & Control is now shipping two new Gefen 4K Ultra HD Multi-Format 2×1 HDBaseT Senders (EXT-UHDV-WP-HBTLS-TX and EXT-UHDV-HBTLS-TX) and a 4K Ultra HD HDBaseT Receiver (EXT-UHDA-HBTL-RX). The EXT-UHDV-WP-HBTLS-TX features the Decora wall-plate form factor that can be installed in-wall and blend well with the décor of a venue. Both Senders can accept 4K Ultra HD HDMI and VGA sources and extend them up to 70m (230ft.) at 1080p and 40m (130ft.) at 4K over a single Cat-5e cable. The HDBaseT extension system supports 10.2 Gbps of data throughput and 300 MHz TMDS Clock frequency. The EXT-UHDA-HBTL-RX HDBaseT Receiver has been designed to work with these two sender units. It deembeds analog L/R, TOSLINK optical digital, and coaxial digital audio from the video for use with a separate audio system, enhancing the impact of presentations.
