Gemini Sound Products' new GX-150 and GX-100 loudspeakers feature a compression driver with a 1.25in. titanium diaphragm, as well as an 8in. aluminum die-cast woofer, for use in permanent audio installations.

Gemini Sound Products has announced two new additions to its GX series, the GX-150 professional powered 8in. two-way ABS loudspeaker and the GX-100 professional 8in. two-way passive ABS loudspeaker.

Ideal for permanent audio installations, these new speakers feature a compression driver with a 1.25in. titanium diaphragm, and an 8in. aluminum die-cast woofer. Each speaker is able to produce 100W rms, with peak power at 250W.

“We wanted to produce a speaker that would be ideal for audio installations,” says Mark Matthews, Gemini’s product development manager. “Their compact size and modest power rating will make these perfect for restaurants, bars, or anywhere the user would want to create musical ambiance for their business or household.”

Each speaker in the XTR system features a durable black ABS plastic molded shell with full metal grille. The speakers also feature a stand-mounting socket and rigging points for easy installation. The GX-150 and GX-100 will have MSRPs of $249.95 and $159.95 respectively, and are due to ship in late January.
