Hitachi Software Engineering America StarBoard interactive whiteboards, tablets, and panels are newly available with state aligned lessons and activities directly from the Hitachi Software website. All posted educational lessons and activities are certified and aligned by third party correlation experts to meet the performance standards of today’s schools and can be delivered through a Hitachi StarBoard.
“Through partnerships with schools and universities throughout the United States, Cambridge University in the U.K., and educational companies such as Cabrilog and knowledge Network Solutions, we have upgraded the Hitachi Software website portal, offering an enhanced array of educational content choices,” says Hitachi Software President Ted Wakabayashi. “Our goal is to provide resources that make it easier for teachers and educators to make the most of their educational technology.”
A strong supporter of open educational resources (OERs), Hitachi Software does not limit educational content to StarBoard users, but allows any interactive whiteboard user or teacher to access digital content in formats such as JPEG, PDF, and Microsoft Office files.
In addition to the Hitachi Software published materials, the online Educators Resource Center allows educators to upload their own resources to the site and share them with other teachers. The resource center is available to any educator interested in contributing and sharing their original course materials.
To access posted lessons and activities, users can simply visit the Hitachi Software IMG StarBoard website, click the link entitled “Educators Resource Center,” and choose any lesson plan to download. Also available directly through the Educators Resource Center, users can see how the lessons and activities meet their state standards.
Hitachi Software offers complete presentation solutions for the education market to engage students in the process of learning. Hitachi Software StarBoard products include the ultra-durable StarBoard FX-Series interactive whiteboards; the StarBoard T-Series interactive panels, which allow teachers to face the class while simultaneously operating the panel screen; and the StarBoard BT-2G interactive tablet, which offers both teachers and students the ability to interact with the presentation.
