Parasound Ztuner v.2 AM/FM Tuner

Parasound is shipping its third-generation Ztuner with features geared to custom-installation professionals. Dubbed Ztuner v.2, the AM/FM tuner promises upgraded performance and software modules for Crestron and AMX control systems. At one rack space tall and 9.5in. wide, the component fits into half the width of a standard audio component. When used in a whole-house music environment, Ztuner v.2 boasts improvements in the RS-232 interface including a larger receive buffer and automatic feedback of the current station, preset number, band, and power status. The upgrade also has discrete IR commands for all functions, FM/AM band selection, tuning and tuning modes, and mono and stereo operation. Users can select presets from 1 to 20 for both AM and FM separately without having to scroll through unused presets. Four discrete IR code sets enable up to four Ztuners to be controlled independently with the same IR system.
