Porter-Cable’s 20 Volt MAX Lithium Ion Compact Drill/ Driver and 20 Volt MAX Lithium Ion Impact Driver are part of the 20 Volt MAX system, which focuses on maximizing a lithium ion battery platform that delivers compact tools that provide performance, an ergonomic design, and the features for any drilling or fastening applications on the jobsite. The 1/2-inch 20V MAX Lithium Ion Drill/Driver has a powerful motor, high-speed transmission, and 1.5-amp-hour battery that delivers up to 330 Unit Watts Out (UWO) to maximize drilling and fastening speeds. The two-speed gear transmission delivers 0 to 400 RPM in low speed for high-torque applications, and 0 to 1,600 RPM for low-torque applications. Since compact size is an important feature for drill/driver users, the drill/driver was designed to be lightweight—it weighs 3.7 pounds and is less than 8 inches in length. The tool’s ergonomic, slim handle also provides comfort for ease of use in applications on the jobsite.
