Shure’s new Microflex Advance is an elegant portfolio of networked ceiling and table array microphones, audio interfaces, and control software for enhanced A/V conferencing. Utilizing Shure’s decades of expertise in acoustics and DSP, the series is designed to deliver sound in a unique way, while blending aesthetically to the room. The Ceiling Array is a networked array microphone that can capture audio from above a meeting space, using Shure’s proprietary Steerable Coverage technology. The Table Array microphone is a versatile toolthe features the new patent pending “Toroid” polar pattern. This ring-shaped pattern helps reject unwanted sound from overhead, while remaining intelligible to meeting participants. A built in web interface facilitates setup and customization, and allows for presets.
