Soundcast Systems is pleased to announce that its newest offering—the OutCast Jr. weather-resistant, wireless loudspeaker—is now shipping. Featuring a unique design that enables music enthusiasts to enjoy rich, multidirectional stereo sound anywhere within a range of up to 350ft., OutCast Jr. lends itself to outdoor applications requiring greater mobility. The OutCast Jr. consists of a 60W digital amplifier, a downfiring 6.5in. woofer, and four omnidirectional drivers for 360 degree stereo in an 18lb. package. The plug-and-play kit includes a rechargeable 12V NiMh battery, an external charging kit, a 120V or a 240V power cord (dependent upon region), and a 12V adapter cable for automotive applications.
