A descendant to the Vanco Evolution EVEX2006 HDMI extender, the Evolution EV4K2006 4K HDMI extender offers additional 4K capabilities to professional AV installations of any size and scale. The EV4K2006 offers a convenient solution for HDMI extension with bi-directional IR, auto EDID/EQ, and bi-directional PoE, allowing either the transmitter or receiver to be powered without the use of a power supply, greatly expanding its applications. The EV4K2006 includes two units: a transmitting unit and receiving unit. The transmitting unit is used to capture the HDMI input with IR signals and carries the signals over a single Cat-5e/-6 cable and the receiving unit is responsible for equalizing the transmitted HDMI signal and reconstructing IR signals.
