Sharp has announced that its PN-M Series large format displays are now compatible with the new SDM Player with BrightSign Built-In System-on-a-Chip (SoC) solution. This new offering in the Intel Smart Display Module (SDM) series delivers an all-in-one solution for digital signage applications. The new computing solution is designed to slide directly into the SDM slot of Sharp’s professional displays, eliminating the need for external cables, power bricks, or additional mounting hardware. This allows system integrators and endusers to easily install, service, or upgrade the computing power without having to replace the entire display investment. The Sharp PN-M series features a brightness of 550 cd/m2, ideal for high end digital signage applications in restaurants, command and control, retail, healthcare, and corporate environments.
