Microsoft has collaborated with the New York Liberty of the WNBA to help them deliver their A-game, as this week the team took to a brand new Xbox-themed court at Barclays Center to close out back to back victories over the Los Angeles Sparks.  The dark hardwood court features a custom design in the paint to resemble the ventilation ports of Microsoft’s latest console, the Xbox Series X, as well as green accents around the court and sidelines. Microsoft says that it is the first gaming-inspired court in the WNBA, as well as first secondary court design in the league.

To tie in the new gaming console court with fans at home, the court has also been completely recreated in the metaverse in the Infinite Canvas Dunking Simulator, a basketball game within Roblox. To commemorate the collaboration, Microsoft announced that it will be donating $10 per submission made by fans to the Power Her Dreams website to either the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation or Girls Who Code, with a maximum donation of $50,000 per nonprofit.
