NETGEAR AV – Engage Controller 2.0

NETGEAR Engage Controller 2.0 is a paradigm shift in professional AV network management, transforming what has traditionally been a complex, IT specialist-dependent process into an accessible, intuitive experience for AV professionals. This software innovation addresses one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: the widening gap between increasingly sophisticated IP-based AV systems and the networking expertise required to deploy them reliably. Engage 2.0 employs a unique profile-based configuration system that eliminates the steep learning curve of traditional network management. Rather than navigating complex menus, configuring VLANs, managing QoS settings, and troubleshooting protocols, AV integrators simply assign pre-configured profiles optimized for specific IP-based audio, video, lighting, and control signals. The software automatically optimizes all underlying switch settings, ensuring proper prioritization, bandwidth allocation, and traffic management. Integrators can configure multiple switches simultaneously, push firmware updates across entire installations, monitor network health in real-time, and remotely troubleshoot issues, taking advantage of extensive visualization tools. Version 2.0 significantly expands the platform’s scope to encompass complete network infrastructure. This release introduces management capabilities for 10 NETGEAR WiFi 7 wireless access points and the PR460X Professional Router. Integrators can now deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain all network components, from AV line switches to wireless control systems to internet connectivity, through a single, cohesive interface. The software’s effectiveness is underpinned by NETGEAR AV OS, developed through partnerships with over 500 manufacturers to ensure verified compatibility across the professional AV ecosystem.

Williams AV Infinium Controller Transmitter

Infinium is a purpose-built, professional Auracast broadcast audio system that delivers a new approach to assistive listening and inclusive audio in commercial environments. Infinium utilizes Auracast, a Bluetooth broadcast audio technology that transmits multiple streams of ultra-low-latency (~30 ms), high-intelligibility audio to an unlimited number of Auracast-compatible receivers. End users can listen through dedicated Infinium receivers or their own Auracast-enabled earbuds, headphones, hearing aids, or cochlear implants. It is applicable to interpretation, audio description, guided tours, and general assistive listening. For integrators, it is intentionally engineered for their needs. The system uses a modular two-part architecture: a rack-mounted professional AV controller and a compact remote transmitter. This separation allows integrators to place the controller inside an AV rack—where analog and native Dante inputs, network settings, and audio configuration are easily managed—while the transmitter’s discreet form factor allows optimal placement within the venue for omnidirectional coverage up to 100 meters. The transmitter requires a single CAT5 cable for audio, power, and control. As Auracast technology continues to appear in smartphones, earbuds, hearing aids, and other personal audio devices, Infinium ensures venues are prepared to support a universal, device-agnostic listening experience. The system aligns with ADA and global accessibility expectations.

NETGEAR AV M4350 Network Switches

This series introduces four new models that directly address real-world challenges faced by AV integrators, live event producers, and broadcast professionals through innovative features that bridge the gap between traditional IT networking and professional audiovisual applications. The series integrates with NETGEAR’s Engage Controller and profile-based configuration approach. All models maintain TAA compliance with separate SKUs available for government customers. The series’ most visually striking innovation is the multi-color LED port identification system. This seemingly simple feature delivers profound practical benefits: user-selected colors display physically on each switch port, directly corresponding with VLAN color assignments in the NETGEAR AV OS. For integrators managing dozens or hundreds of connections in complex installations, this visual matching system simplifies deployment, reduces setup time by eliminating the need to trace cables or consult documentation, and virtually eliminates costly connection errors that can delay projects or disrupt live events. Recognizing the high-stakes nature of live event production, NETGEAR incorporated a secure power connection mechanism that prevents accidental disconnections during critical operations.

L-Acoustics – L-Acoustics DJ

L-Acoustics DJ introduces live stem separation for immersive audio in DJ performances. Utilizing machine learning, it dissects stereo tracks into individual stems (drums, bass, vocals) in real time. This capability, integrated with L-ISA technology, allows DJs to position and move these stems within a 3D sound field using the dedicated L-Acoustics DJ App or standard MIDI controllers. Unlike conventional stereo systems, L-Acoustics DJ creates a spatially dynamic listening experience without disrupting the DJ’s established workflow and blending their existing stereo libraries into the real-time workflow. The technology comprises the L-Acoustics DJ App, L-ISA Processor II, P1 processor, and L-Acoustics loudspeaker systems. This integrated approach provides DJs with real-time control over the spatialization of individual track elements while maintaining their familiar mixing techniques. DJs can seamlessly blend their existing stereo libraries into an immersive environment in real time, introducing spatial elements as desired without format limitations. The core innovation is live stem separation enabled by advanced machine learning algorithms. The companion app enables DJs to manipulate the location and movement of sound sources within the venue and is compatible with L-Acoustics range of hardware. Furthermore, the L-ISA architecture enables simultaneous, independent spatial audio control across multiple zones or rooms from a single interface.
