SUDBURY, Mass. — May 26, 2016 — Revolabs, Inc., announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company helping clients build communities in print, in person and online has named Revolabs’ FLX(TM) UC 1500 conference phone a 2016 WebRTC Product of the Year Award winner. This award marks the sixth industry honor presented to products in the FLX UC family; previous honors include:
* FLX UC 1500 – 2015 AV Technology Best of Show Winner at InfoComm
* FLX UC 1500 – 2015 CRN Product of the Year
* FLX UC 1500 – 2015 TMC Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award
* FLX UC 1000 – 2015 TMC Product of the Year Award
* FLX UC 500 – 2014 TMC/Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award
“This award attests to the robustness and performance of the UC family design. We develop high-performance audio conference endpoints that operate with most leading VoIP and UC applications, including the WebRTC environment and associated platforms, and in a variety of meeting environments,” said JP Carney, Revolabs’ chief executive officer. “Organizations that choose the FLX UC 1500 enhance meeting quality and future-proof their choice of UC applications with this software-agnostic solution.”
The FLX UC 1500 ensures crystal-clear conferencing in rooms designed to accommodate up to 18 people. Everyone can be heard without needing to shout or reposition the conference phone. This design is ideal for use with Unified Communications (UC) and WebRTC applications that are starting to utilize the full spectrum of human speech. Every spoken word is fully captured and transmitted, allowing the speaker to sound natural and to be heard and understood clearly. With improved intelligibility, it’s easier for conference participants who are in different locations and speak in a variety of native languages to be more easily understood.
The FLX UC 1500 is compatible with all market-leading IP PBXs, as well as computer-based collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Skype(TM) for Business, Cisco Jabber(R), Vidyo(R), WebEx(R), and Zoom(R), and many others. VoIP and UC calls over USB can be bridged with the push of a button, reducing the amount of tabletop equipment needed, clearing the meeting table and simplifying the call process for users. The FLX UC 1500 makes it easy and economical to transition from traditional VoIP telephony to UC with a single device.
The FLX UC 1500 is the third member of Revolabs’ UC conference phone family that also includes the FLX UC 500 USB phone and the FLX UC 1000 VoIP & USB phone, designed for use in small- to medium-sized conference rooms, huddle rooms and executive offices.
