24-HOURS OF ATEME BRINGS DAY-LONG WEBINAR TO CUSTOMERS AROUND THE GLOBE

ATEME, the leader in video delivery solutions for Broadcast, Cable TV, DTH, IPTV and OTT, has revealed that its live ‘24-Hours of ATEME’ webinar was a great success, reaching an audience of over 1,500 unique attendees within the broadcast industry and media over the course of 24-hours.

With the NABShow due to have taken place this week, ATEME’s 24-hour online event enabled attendees to hear from a number of ATEME’s experts on subjects including adapting to the current global situation, codecs, Kubernetes orchestration for video, using bandwidth efficiently and virtual programming. ATEME also provided information on its latest solutions and innovations to help broadcasters transform video delivery.

Michel Artières, CEO, ATEME

The “chasing the sun” webinar event sought to cater to all of ATEME’s customers in more than 100 countries with the first sessions taking place in France, before heading across the Atlantic to cater to East Coast US customers and later joining the West Coast. The session then headed over to Australia and South East Asia, and finally circled back to Europe for the finale.

ATEME’s customers were at the heart of the event, with the agenda for the day being determined after ATEME surveyed them to gain insight on the issues they wanted to hear about and the challenges they were looking to overcome.

Michel Artières, CEO, ATEME, commented, “We were obviously disappointed that this year’s NABShow wouldn’t be going ahead as planned, however, we were thrilled to still be able to engage people from across the broadcast sector with our event. The 24-hour webinar series was a great success around the globe, and we were glad to be able to cater to every time zone, so that our customers could get the most from our experts. The current global situation is forcing many within the industry to change the way they operate, so this was also a good opportunity to check in with our customers and others within the industry to discover how they have been coping and the challenges they are facing. This has highlighted the need for remote production, an area in which we are looking to launch new initiatives, and has allowed us to provide solutions to help our customers weather this difficult period.”
