SINGAPORE — As the broadcast market in Myanmar expands and production quality and quantity continue to rise, professional video and audio systems integration firm Advanced Broadcast Solutions – Asia will host its second Broadcast Technology Conference, February 23-24, 2016, at Novotel Hotel in Yangon. Working with the International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers (IABM), ABS has developed a free two-day conference that will include representatives from a number of major manufacturers including, Autodesk, Canara Lighting, Grass Valley, Panasonic, Ross Video and more.

“Myanmar’s upcoming broadcast laws, which are expected to allow additional channels as well as the changing landscape of existing organizations is creating a great surge in production. However, it also means new and current broadcasters will need to get up to speed quickly on the latest technologies to compete,” explained Dennis Breckenridge, managing director, Advanced Broadcast Solutions – Asia. “Our Broadcast Technology Conference has been designed to provide information about workflows, infrastructures, and a number of products from some of the industry’s top manufacturers.”

The conference program includes technology presentations and panel discussions on market challenges, viewer expectations, UHD production, workflow and production technologies, immersive graphics, and more. Lunch and tea breaks for attendees are also included.

This year ABS has added a new half day operator training session sponsored by Autodesk. The session will focus on Flame and its 3D animation tools. It will be specifically for users and provide exposure to the rich tools focused on graphics/animation creators and editors.

Registration for the Broadcast Technology Conference is free, but space is limited. For more information, e-mail [email protected].
