AES 59th International Conference Adds Workshop on Console R&D

— “Sound Reinforcement Console Design – Now and the Future” will kick off the conference’s third day —

New York, NY  — The AES 59th International Conference, with an emphasis on Sound Reinforcement Engineering and Technology, taking place July 15-17, 2015, at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, has added a special workshop on the topic of console R&D. This workshop, “Sound Reinforcement Console Design – Now and the Future,” will kick off the conference’s third day, Friday, July 17, at 9 a.m. EDT.

The session will feature panelists Bob Snelgrove from DiGiCo, Don Wershba from Solid State Logic and Kevin Kimmel from Yamaha, speaking about their current designs and future plans.

Richard King, AES 59th Conference Co-coordinator, states, “Come and have an exclusive sneak-peak into the future of sound reinforcement console development, and ask questions of these highly knowledgeable representatives. This morning’s workshop will lead directly into a workshop/tutorial on mixing hosted by Meyer Sound’s Buford Jones.”
