AGT Celebrates Audio Visual Month

Company Progresses Partnership with Lighthouse Foundation, Surveys Clients and End Users

Kennesaw, Ga. (November 4, 2015) – Applied Global Technologies (AGT), a proven provider of managed and visual collaboration solutions, today announces its participation in Audio Visual (A/V) Month, a time in October to celebrate, promote and share the A/V industry with the world. As part of its A/V Month initiatives this year, AGT continues to support the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, an Atlanta-based organization it partnered with last year in honor of A/V Month, by donating a free cloud video conferencing account to help the Lighthouse Foundation with its collaboration initiatives. In addition, AGT conducted a survey of clients, partners and industry professionals to gain insight on how end users are utilizing their A/V environments and what their goals are for 2016.

Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation

Since partnering with the Lighthouse Foundation – a nonprofit organization which provides vision and hearing services to uninsured and under-insured Georgians statewide – in 2014, AGT has continued to support the organization through regular volunteer hours and donations to the Foundation’s Eyeglass Recycling Program. The Foundation services more than 7,500 people of all ages each year by providing them with eye exams, eye surgeries and hearing and vision programs. This year’s donation of a cloud video conferencing account from AGT will allow the Lighthouse Foundation’s local and remote teams to collaborate seamlessly via video on their desktops, laptops, mobile devices and more.

Audio Visual Survey

AGT’s A/V Month survey was administered to the company’s clients, partners and industry professionals. The goal of the survey is to gauge current and future usage of A/V solutions, as well as collaboration trends within the workplace. AGT will use insight from the survey in order to better understand and serve its A/V clients and partners in the future. As a thanks, all survey participants will receive a free A/V Month t-shirt from AGT, which the company designed and also distributed to its employees.

“Audio Visual Month is an important time in the A/V industry, and one we look forward to every year as an A/V integrator,” says Mark Cray, CEO of AGT. “Our approach to A/V Month this year was two-fold, with one initiative focused on gaining insight from end users and another on serving a worthy nonprofit organization which benefits sight and sound. We hope our involvement in A/V Month will not only help us better serve our clients in the future, but will also generate awareness for the Lighthouse Foundation’s outstanding cause and for our industry.”
