Archion Features New ‘Collaborate’ Appliance for Adobe Creative Cloud Workflows at NAB 2015

-- Innovative Solution Provides Continuous Adobe ID or Current User Local Sync Point Access for All Adobe Creative Cloud Content Creators To Share, Collaborate and More --

Las Vegas, NV (April 13, 2015) – Archion, a global leader in providing networked storage solutions for media workflows, is featuring its new Collaborate appliance for Adobe® Creative Cloud® at NAB 2015.  Collaborate makes sharing and working together easy, efficient and secure for all Adobe Creative Cloud users by providing management of Adobe Creative Cloud sync points while enabling continuous high-speed access to the world of Adobe Creative Cloud assets, Archive, Libraries, files and tools.  Adobe Creative Cloud provides access to Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects CC and many more apps. Archion will be demonstrating Collaborate in Booth SL16011 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 13-16, 2015.

Now, significantly greater possibilities can be realized with the integration of Adobe Creative Cloud and Archion’s Collaborate.  This uniquely designed high-performance appliance, connected to Archion’s EditStor shared storage system, is designed to work as a localized version of Creative Cloud while also serving as a platform for media asset management and archive.

“Adobe Creative Cloud gives creative professionals everything they need to create amazing work across desktop and mobile devices – and the ability to work together,” said Simon Williams, senior director of business development at Adobe.  “The integration of Archion’s Collaborate with Adobe Creative Cloud enables content to be seamlessly synced across local shared production environments and then pushed or pulled to Creative Cloud for remote collaboration.  Creative professionals using Creative Cloud and Archion’s EditStor gain the benefit of collaborating from virtually any location even more easily and efficiently.”

Archion’s Collaborate provides a single local sync point that allows  content creators to share, collaborate and create.  Users can work with either an Adobe ID or as a Current User, accessing synced Libraries and other Creative Cloud-based media on a local basis and then pushing it to the Creative Cloud.

Collaborate was also engineered to host several leading media management tools, such as eMAM and Archiware.  With the integration of eMAM, Collaborate becomes a complete media asset management solution that can manage ingest into centralized storage and then provide web-based cataloging, preview and push to Adobe Anywhere.  By adding Archiware, users will have a complete system from ingest to archive — local and cloud-based Creative Cloud with asset management and archive all in one box.

“We are delighted to introduce Collaborate to creative professionals at this year’s NAB,” said James Tucci, chief technology officer of Archion.  “Having the Creative Cloud benefits in the local post production facility and the ability to push to the Creative Cloud for remote collaboration is a winning combination of security and flexibility.”

“We believe Adobe Creative Cloud will continue the evolution of how industry professionals collaborate,” said Reuben Lima, Archion’s chief executive officer.  “Adobe has developed the richest environments of mobile tools for content creators, and we are delighted to support Adobe Creative Cloud with Archion’s Collaborate to provide enhanced media management and protection.”

Collaborate Offers 24/7 Adobe CC Connectivity

Archion’s Collaborate fits into an EditStor EO network to provide 24/7 Adobe Creative Cloud cloud connectivity between local client workstations and all remote applications and systems.  Easy to install and set up, it comes completely configured with two 10gigE ports.

Sync is the key in the new Adobe Creative Cloud tools.  Archion’s Collaborate provides the sync point for all the Adobe Creative Cloud clients on the EditStor network, making Creative Cloud Collaboration tools always available for mobile applications and remote networking clients.  All of the assets, archives, files, Libraries and Collaboration shares are available on all Adobe Creative Cloud Sync systems 24/7 with EditStor and the Archion Collaboration appliance.  Working with Collaborate is transparent to an Adobe user.

Normally, when the workstation in a client-to-cloud connection is down, the access to Sync, Assets, Archive, Collaboration sessions and Libraries is not available.  However, with Archion’s Collaborate, Sync points are always available and online regardless of the status of the user system.
