Atlona Ignites Canadian Channel Sales with Three New Partners

Streamlined distribution model will accelerate deliveries and enhance service to Atlona dealers and other channels in key markets

SAN JOSE, Calif., August 2, 2019 – Atlona, a Panduit company, has restructured its Canadian market strategy to better serve dealers, consultants and integrators with three key partner appointments. Effective immediately, the three new channelpartners – DNT Solutions, Keystone Display Solutions, and Connsec products – will represent Atlona commercial AV solutions in Atlona’s busiest Canadian territories, accelerating deliveries and enhancing service across Atlona channels from British Columbia east through most of Ontario.

The regional territorial breakdown is as follows:

  • DNT Solutions will exclusively cover the entire British Columbia Province, and partner with Keystone Display Solutions to cover the “Prairie Provinces” of Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan
  • Connsec Products will cover the majority of the Ontario Province, excluding Ottawa

“Canada is a challenging country to cover due to its size and the broad dispersion of its population,” said Omar Prashad, Country Manager, Canada for Atlona. “To efficiently address these challenges, we are partnering with independent agents with a local presence in our key markets who are well-respected, know the AV industry, and understand how Atlona solutions fit into the bigger picture. We focused in on these three firms due to their experience with complementary Tier 1 vendors and product lines, and reputations with their regional dealers.”

Jim Seto, Principal, DNT Solutions, is bullish on Atlona’s AV over IP innovations, which he believes will at once enhance hiscompany’s portfolio while giving Atlona a leg up with customers that are transitioning AV systems to the network.

“AV over IP is one of the fastest growing categories in commercial AV, and an area that Atlona specializes in with OmniStream and Velocity,” said Seto. “By leveraging our existing industry relationships through local representation, we will increase Atlona’s visibility and opportunities for AV over IP projects as well as traditional circuit-based systems.”

Glenn Corthey, Principal, Keystone Display Solutions, notes that his company’s primary responsibility will be to educate integrators and end users on the “unique products and outstanding value proposition” that Atlona brings to the industry.

“Atlona’s continued drive to innovate new and unique products has solved many issues in the AV marketplace,” said Corthey. “There are considerable challenges in finding the right solutions for huddle spaces and conference rooms, which Atlona is addressing with new products from its Omega family. We’re seeing more demand for AV over IP solutions than ever before, and too many are difficult to design and deploy. Atlona’s OmniStream products are remarkably easy to set up, integrate and manage, solving the main problems that integrators face with AV over IP deployments today.”

Brian Hachey, President and CEO, Connsec Products, views Atlona as a “proven innovator” that stands behind its products with an “unprecedented 10-year warranty and level of support.” He believes these attributes align with his company’s outstanding customer service reputation, as well as its reputation for partnering with top-shelf AV manufacturers.

“Atlona’s emphasis on bringing premium distribution partners on board is another testament to their commitment to the commercial AV industry in Canada,” said Hachey, who also pointed to Atlona’s problem-solving approach as a competitive differentiator. “AV over IP continues to develop and bring new design opportunities to commercial AV integrators, with OmniStream fulfilling many of these needs. Atlona also continues to innovate for everything from board rooms and huddle spaces to large-scale, campus-wide distribution systems, seamlessly bringing IP products and control software together to create truly integrated AV solutions.”

All three companies expect to partner with Atlona on training and education initiatives in their respective territories, with Corthey pointing to tradeshows and dealer events as particularly important. “We will blanket the territory in terms of dealer coverage, work closely with design consultants and end users, and facilitate manufacturer-sponsored training events in major cities.”
