SAN JOSE, Calif. — April 15, 2014 — Atlona(R), a leading AV distribution solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Thorsten Goecke as director of business development for the company’s EMEA commercial division. In his new role, Goecke will work to extend Atlona’s partner network and brand awareness in the European AV installation market.
“Thorsten brings extensive experience in sales and business development to Atlona, as well as key distributor relationships and a rich background in commercial AV connectivity deployments,” said Matt Bute, Atlona’s director of global sales. “We’re looking forward to working with him to expand Atlona’s presence in Europe and develop new markets for our industry-leading distribution and connectivity solutions.”
Prior to joining Atlona, Goecke was EMEA channel sales director for Icron Technologies. He also previously served as managing director for Gefen Distribution GmbH in the European pro-AV market and sales manager for SDI GmbH.
