London, UK – Audiomovers, developers of industry-leading software tools that enable music professionals around the globe to stream, listen to and record high-resolution multichannel audio remotely and in real time, is pleased to announce that its flagship software, LISTENTO Standard Plus, has been nominated for Outstanding Technical Achievement in the Audio Education Technology category in the 38th annual Technical Excellence and Creativity (TEC) Awards. The awards will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023, at The NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. For invited members, voting is now open in each category and will end on March 1, 2023. Finalists from the 22 categories will be selected by industry professionals across major music, sound, and game audio associations, along with pro audio focused media groups.

LISTENTO allows you to send a link to transmit lossless quality audio in real time – from the browser, from a desktop app for Mac or Windows, or from within a DAW as a plugin. Listeners can listen in real time by opening the link in their web browser, in a dedicated iOS or Android app, in the desktop app, or directly in their DAW with the Receiver plugin. This set of industry-standard solutions allows producers, engineers, musicians and music students to stream, record and collaborate on high-resolution audio in real time, rather than sending huge files back and forth.

Users can set up and go in under five minutes and set latency and quality to eliminate dropouts at variable bitrates. Industry-leading facilities and organizations around the world such as Abbey Road Studios, AIR Studios, Skywalker Sound, RAK Studios, The Village Studios, Eastwest Studios and Crosby Studios employ Audiomovers’ LISTENTO software to work remotely in real time with clients including GRAMMY®-winning major-label artists, producers and engineers like Aaron Dessner (working with Taylor Swift), Eddie Kramer, Bainz, Future Islands, Dave Fridmann, !llmind, Teezio, Jesse Ray Ernster, George Massenburg, Bring Me The Horizon, Count, Tim Bran, J Views, Phil Gornell, Yungblud, Niko Moon, Cian Riordan, Lewis Capaldi, David Boucher, Josh Groban and many more.

Educational institutions like Berklee, The Abbey Road Institute and The New York School of Music, among many others rely on Audiomovers as the de-facto standard to share high-resolution audio for virtual classroom and remote collaboration.

“It is a tremendous honor that our LISTENTO platform has been nominated by industry professionals for outstanding technical achievement,” stated Igor Maxymenko, Audiomovers Head of Audio Products. “Our tools have been used by educators to enable live classroom quality in distance learning scenarios as well as by pros across the industry to bridge the geographical gap and keep the creativity flowing, and we are pleased to have become an essential part of the workflow of these talented individuals and institutions.”

Presented annually by NAMM during The NAMM Show, The NAMM TEC Awards recognize the individuals, companies, and technical innovations behind the sound of recordings, live performances, films, television, video games, and other media in Technical and Creative Achievement Categories. The Les Paul Award is given at the event in tribute to musical artists and others whose work has exemplified the creative application of audio technology. Through its Hall of Fame, The TEC Awards also honors the pioneers of audio technology and the music industry’s most accomplished producers and audio technicians. The NAMM Foundation’s TECnology Hall of Fame celebrates innovations and groundbreaking technical achievements of the past. More information and the opportunity to participate in public online voting is available at www.tecawards.org.
