Vermilion, Ohio, August 13, 2015 – Seeking to outfit its newly renovated Tabernacle with state-of-the-art display technology, Beulah Beach Camp and Retreat Center in Vermilion, Ohio recently added Hitachi CP-WX8255 and CP-WX8265 3LCD projectors to the 100-year-old worship space. The new system features a total of six projectors, which were sold through Shepherd Multimedia (www.shepherdmultimedia.com).

When planning out the new center, Beulah Beach’s Technology Manager Brian Gowing immediately sought the opinion of Darren MacDonald, VP of Shepherd Multimedia. Mr. Gowing had specific criteria in mind in his search for an ideal video system. “We needed to be able to host events throughout the year, including large events with approximately 2,000 guests,” Mr. Gowing said. “We also wanted to create a dramatic and immersive experience utilizing environmental projection to completely draw in the crowd.”

To that end, Beulah Beach decided on Hitachi for several reasons. “The Hitachi projectors are very easy to use and the price/performance ratio put them ahead of other competitive models we looked at,” Mr. Gowing noted.

“The Hitachi projectors are a dramatic improvement from the previous system and because they’re so bright, we can now keep the curtains open in the space without worrying about the ambient light,” Mr. Gowing added. “Everyone can now enjoy the waterfront view without the images on the screens being washed out!”

Since completion of the renovation, the feedback on the Hitachi projection system has been overwhelmingly positive. “We’ve been able to provide a new level of engagement for our audiences of all ages while also getting tremendous value,” Mr. Gowing concluded. “We couldn’t be happier in choosing Hitachi.”
