AVI Systems’ event to discuss upcoming applications for UC and videoconferencing solutions in collaborative organizations
BEAVERTON, Oregon — Feb. 5, 2015 — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, today announced that Paul Waadevig, unified communications (UC) product manager for Biamp(R), will be participating in an AVI Systems’ panel discussion titled “Unified Communication Delivered.” The session, sponsored by Biamp, will take place on Feb. 12 at 4:00 p.m. at the UNO Thompson Alumni Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Co-chaired by Waadevig, Randy Weeter, director of U.S. video channels for Avaya, and Andrew Harris, director of information technology for Ballantyne Strong, the interactive panel will discuss how unified communications are being applied to today’s connected workplaces in order to encourage more effective communications and organizational growth. The discussion will also touch on the tools, technologies, and trends that contribute to the creation of more collaborative environments.
“The rise of collaborative workspaces raises several questions on how to deliver the promise of increased productivity across the enterprise,” said Monti Carr, system sales at AVI Systems. “To look further into this topic, AVI Systems has invited Biamp’s Paul Waadevig as one of our three panel members. Paul’s passion and vast experience with merging technologies will stimulate the discussion about short- and long-term strategies for implementing technology infrastructure in any collaboration-based environment.”
