BRETFORD APPOINTS PHIL CLOUTIER TO

VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND MARKETING

CHICAGO — February 23, 2012 —Bretford Manufacturing, Inc., a United States manufacturer of dependable furniture products that improve how people work and learn, has appointed Phil Cloutier to the newly created position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Cloutier is responsible for the development of Bretford’s North American and international market strategies, and for leading and mentoring Bretford’s customer-facing teams, including; sales, marketing, customer care, contracts, and special projects. His initial priorities are to ensure these teams are properly structured based on the needs of customers and partners, while also overseeing the launch and delivery of the company’s new EDU 2.0 social learning furniture line for education environments.

“Phil was a sought-after addition to the Bretford family due to his years of experience in the furniture industry and his leadership background,” explained Chris Petrick, CEO for Bretford Manufacturing, Inc. “His expertise is critical to helping us move deeper into the contract and education furniture markets in the U.S. and overseas.”

Cloutier brings more than 15 years of successful experience in sales and marketing to Bretford, the majority of which are in the furniture industry. Most recently, Cloutier was Vice President of Marketing and Inside Sales at McCue Corporation in Salem, Mass. Cloutier also worked for Herman Miller, Inc. as Northeast Government and Higher Education Sales Manager and participated in Herman Miller’s Leadership Development Program. Additionally, he has held various sales, marketing and leadership positions at Wright Line LLC and Curtis 1000.

Cloutier holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. He has received extensive training and certification in the areas of sales, marketing, management and leadership.
