Christie® Extends Warranty Coverage For Its Industry-Leading 3-Chip DLP® Business Projectors

Christie, well-known for industry-leading warranties, is raising the service and support bar once again by increasing its global warranty program to a full three years for Christie’s proven 3-chip DLP(r) projectors. Available globally and at no extra cost, this three-year warranty applies to select Christie 3-chip DLP projectors sold through the Christie Business Products channels.

As a testament to the quality, reliability and performance of its high performance 3-chip DLP projectors, Christie is proud to extend its warranty program to the widest selection of 3-chip DLP projectors available on the AV market today. These Christie projectors range from 2,300 ANSI lumens to 30,000 ANSI lumens and are equipped with either xenon or mercury illumination, fulfilling the business requirements for applications of any size and budget.

Clients also benefit from selecting Christie projectors that have claimed prestigious titles in the AV industry. These award-winning projectors include the Christie Roadie HD+30K and the Christie Roadster HD18K. Both received top honors from New Bay Media’s Rental & Staging Systems magazine and InfoComm International(r) in 2007, claiming the titles of “Best Video Projection Product/High Lumen” and “Best HD Production Product”, respectively.

The recently awarded and internationally recognized Christie M Series is also included in the three-year warranty program. At InfoComm 2009, the Christie HD10K-M claimed the titles of “Most Innovative Install-Grade Video Projector” (New Bay Media’s SCN Magazine and InfoComm International(r)) and “Best Video Projector” (InfoComm/SCN Installation Product Awards/Rental & Staging Systems Product Awards). Earlier in the year, the Christie M Series was also named the “Most InAVative Display product for Commercial use” at the Technology InAVation Awards 2009 in Amsterdam.

“This industry-leading, three-year warranty, available at no additional cost, is Christie’s way of showing our commitment to our customers and our confidence in the AV industry’s best projectors,” says Gary Fuller, vice-president, Business Products at Christie. “The extra year of warranty coverage gives customers peace of mind, reduces life-time operating costs and raises Christie’s industry-leading service and support in the 3-chip DLP projector market to an even higher level.”

Effective June 1, 2009 the 3-chip DLP projectors covered by the new three-year warranty program are the:
