Custom Channels Releases a New Q-SYS™ Verified Plugin at InfoComm 2026, Bringing Licensed Music Directly into the AV Control Layer

New Q-SYS Verified Plugin simplifies multi-zone audio deployments while expanding support from single locations to global enterprise environments

Custom Channels, a technology-driven music and audio branding platform built for commercial environments, will debut its new QSYS Verified Plugin at InfoComm 2026 (Booth C9700, June 17–19, Las Vegas), extending its reach across the full spectrum of commercial AV deployments—from specialty locations to global enterprises.

As a contributor to the QSYS Ecosystem, Custom Channels collaborated with QSYS to create a market-ready control solution that integrates fully licensed commercial music playback into the QSYS Full Stack AV Platform. By embedding music directly into the control layer, the integration eliminates the need for separate apps, devices, and logins—streamlining how integrators design, deploy, and manage multi-zone environments.

Available now in QSYS Library.

“We’re focused on empowering our dealer partners to deliver music without limits—across any platform and for every business we serve,” said Joe Comer, CEO, Custom Channels. “With QSYS, we’re bringing that vision directly into the systems our dealer partners rely on every day, making music a native part of the AV environment rather than an add-on.”

In environments such as boardrooms, airline lounges, retail flagships, and hospitality spaces, multi-zone audio can quickly become complicated when multiple content sources and control systems are involved. The Custom Channels QSYS Verified Plugin simplifies that architecture by making licensed music available to the QSYS Ecosystem, while eliminating third-party hardware and reducing both system complexity and cost.

“We are proud of our collaboration with Custom Channels to publish a QSYS Verified Plugin in QSYS Library that will enable elevated experiences for the QSYS Full Stack AV Platform across our shared customers,” says Geno Zaharie, Senior Director, Alliances & Ecosystem, QSYS.

For integrators, the impact goes beyond simplification. The plugin improves user experiences and provides authentication-based provisioning and remote reactivation—making it easier to configure, manage, and scale systems without the operational overhead traditionally associated with music integration.

Custom Channels is growing and expanding on a partner-first model that reflects how integrators work in the field. Through a growing network of specialist partners, the company can tailor-fit solutions to each environment—whether that means a single-location deployment or a globally distributed rollout. That means no two deployments are forced into the same mold.

“Every installation is different, and integrators need the flexibility to get it right for each customer,” said René Arnold, Senior Director of Partnerships, Custom Channels. “Our partner-first approach allows us to work alongside integrators to design audio strategies that fit within the broader AV system—while making sure licensing, reliability, and control are exactly where they need to be.”

At InfoComm 2026, Custom Channels will demonstrate how its platform integrates into modern AV ecosystems, supporting managed multi-zone deployments, centralized scheduling, and content control across hundreds of locations. Whether designing turnkey installations or standardizing audio across a distributed portfolio, integrators can rely on Custom Channels to deliver compliant, reliable, and scalable audio experiences.
