D-Tools Streamlines Purchase Order Management Enhancing workflow efficiencies significantly, SI 2016’s new Purchase Order features enable System Integrator users to issue POs to vendors directly from within SI 2016. More over, users can create Purchase Orders with products from the SI catalog or directly from an SI project or multiple projects. Purchase Orders can then be submitted to the vendor via email or through the forthcoming D-Tools Vendor Portal, which will facilitate direct communication between SI users and the vendors from which products are sourced. The Vendor Portal will enable Vendors to accept POs from SI users. Vendors get notified when a PO is published to the portal, where they can sign in and view POs, accept or reject them, and enter a vendor reference number once the order is processed.
