FARMINGDALE, NY – July 20, 2020: EEG Video, the leader in closed captioning technology, continues to expand its development team. The newest addition is Edward Reeseg, who joins the company in the role of Front-End Software Developer.

A certified Full Stack Web Developer, Reeseg will be instrumental in guiding the interface design and user experience of EEG solutions. In collaboration with the EEG dev team, Reeseg will oversee the overall design, styling, and underlying logic of the UI/UX portion within EEG solutions to ensure highly intuitive and efficient workflows.

EEG’s addition of Reeseg reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to the best possible experience for users of its closed captioning solutions, which include professionals in broadcasting, streaming media, post production, education, government, and corporate sectors, as well as live and online events. Product lines that Reeseg will collaborate on include EEG’s Lexi™ Automatic CaptioningAlta line of captioning solutions for live IP video production environments, Falcon RTMP live caption embedding solution, and industry-leading iCap™ cloud-based closed captioning and subtitling delivery network.

“My approach to UI and UX design involves putting myself into the shoes of someone who has no prior experience with the interface in question, and is looking to minimize frustration and maximize efficiency,” Reeseg says. “EEG’s work in providing increased accessibility is of the utmost importance, and I look forward to pushing our industry forward even further.”
