Flipside Soundsystem has been named as a finalist in the Venue Project of the Year category of the AV Awards. The integrator was nominated for its impressive work at the Kadwa Patidar Centre (KPC) in Harrow, the first venue in the UK to benefit from TW AUDiO’s recently launched ELLA system.
KPC is renowned for its popularity as a wedding venue within London’s thriving Hindu community, as well as celebrated for its work to support local education and charitable causes. The venue required a modern solution that would deliver the musicality its events needed from a discreet footprint. Despite the system never being used in the UK before, Flipside believed the technical capabilities of ELLA would be a perfect fit for KPC.
The team was proved correct as result of this installation has seen a transformation in the sound quality at KPC. Where once there was the added cost of bringing in rented systems that were not necessarily suitable for the space, events can now be serviced by a state-of-the-art solution that has been designed for the room and controlled simply by the in-house team.
The innovative installation from Flipside is amongst a strong field of projects including Wembley Stadium, Pavilions at Expo 2020 in Dubai, Malmo’s historic Opera Theatre and the Xi’an Olympic Centre Stadium, to name just a few.
