Wayne, N.J. – The Optical Devices Division of FUJIFILM will showcase the latest in its new lens range at the upcoming Texas Association of Broadcasters 64th Annual Convention & Trade Show (Booth #104). Numerous camera manufactures and dealers will also show FUJINON 4K, HD, PL and “E” mount lenses across the exhibitor floor. TAB 2017, the largest state broadcast association convention in the nation, takes place on August 9-10 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.
A 4K area in the FUJIFILM booth will feature the UA22x8B and new UA18x5.5B lenses. The UA18x5.5B lens, introduced at NAB this year, is the latest handheld in the company’s Premier UA Series of 4K 2/3” lenses. Delivering edge-to-edge 4K optical quality to 2/3-inch 4K portable cameras and camcorders, the UA18x5.5B lens has a focal length range from 5.5mm in wide angle to 100mm in telephoto, and a zoom ratio of 18x. The unique zoom range of the UA18x5.5B makes this a 2-in-1 lens, offering both wide-angle and telephoto capability. The lightweight UA18x5.5B is ideal for situations that require added mobility, such as news reporting and on-location production. Both the UA18x5.5B and UA22x8B are part of the FUJINON 4K line-up of complete UA Series lenses, which also includes the UA13x4.5B, UA80x9B, UA107x8.4B and UA27x6.5B lenses.
The FUJINON MK50-135mm cinema lens
At TAB, the company will also showcase the new MK series of cinema lenses, as well as multiple PL-mount Cabrio zooms. The recently introduced FUJINON MK50-135mm and MK18-55mm T2.9 zooms were designed with the ‘emerging’ cinematographer in mind – whether shooting a live event, online programming, documentary, corporate video, wedding, independent or short film production. With a combined focal length range of 18mm-135mm, together the MK18-55mm and MK50-135mm lenses cover the most frequently used range utilized by emerging cinematographers. The series offers fast lenses with T2.9 speed across the entire zoom range, enabling a shallow depth-of-field. FUJINON MK lenses are currently designed for E-mount cameras and boast advanced optical performance, ultra-compact and lightweight design, and excellent cost performance.
Additionally, across the TAB 2017 show floor, several camera manufacturers and partners will feature FUJINON lenses in their booths, including numerous ZA22x7.6BRD ENG/EFP, XA55x9.5BESM 2/3-inch zoom and HA Premier series lenses.
