HARMAN Professional Solutions Introduces JBL AE Powered Loudspeakers

Next-generation powered loudspeakers deliver best-in-class performance, comprehensive control and legendary JBL sound quality for small- to medium-sized installations

InfoComm (Booth #3201), ORLANDO —

HARMAN Professional Solutions, the global leader in audio, video, lighting and control systems, including networked AV, today introduced the JBL AE Powered Series next-generation high-performance loudspeakers.

Designed for the most demanding applications, JBL AE Powered loudspeakers are equipped with the latest HARMAN amplification and DSP technologies, including Crown DriveCore front-end amplification, premium JBL user-configurable

DSP

and full HiQnet Network control. Comprised of two full-range loudspeakers and two subwoofer models, the AE Powered Series is ideal for performing arts facilities, theatrical sound design, auditoriums, houses of worship, music venues, dance clubs, sports facilities, entertainment venues and more.

“Systems designers and integrators need flexible and powerful speaker systems that enable them to deliver exceptional results for a wide range of customers and venues,” said Jon Sager, Senior Solutions Manager, HARMAN Professional Solutions. “The new AE Powered Series offers a premium feature set that delivers best-in-class performance, control and sound quality for small to medium-sized installations. Now, system designers can deploy a no-compromise, all-in-one full-range system that offers cutting-edge technologies, greater flexibility and a lower cost of ownership.”

The AE Powered Series offers advanced network configuration, control and monitoring capabilities via HARMAN Audio Architect software. Rotatable waveguides allow designers to utilize the full-range system in both vertical and horizontal configurations while maintaining the same coverage pattern. Because the height dimension is the same as the two-way systems from the JBL AE Series, MTU-1 and MTU-3 U-brackets can be utilized for overhead suspension of the full-range loudspeaker systems.

Looping PowerCon™ A/C connectors provide the capability to combine two or three loudspeaker systems without requiring multiple home runs to the main power source or additional junction boxes at each array location. All models are equipped with JBL patented Differential Drive® low-frequency drivers with 3” (75mm) voice coils. The full-range high-frequency section utilizes the highly reliable 2432H 3” (75mm) voice coil

compression

driver.

The JBL AE Powered Series will be available in late summer 2017.
