will include the tvONE CORIOmaster mini, the industry’s first compact all-in-one videowall processor. The CORIOmaster mini and tvONE’s HDMI over Single CAT 5e/6 Transmitter will be just a sample of the many HDBaseT extenders, matrixes and switchers for various broadcasting installations attendees can see first-hand at the Alliance booth (#SU 11914).

HDBaseT enables all-in-one connectivity between HD video sources and remote displays through a single 100m CAT5e/6 cable, delivering uncompressed high definition video, including 4K, audio, Ethernet, control signals and up to 100 watts of power. Powered by the

Valens

chipset, HDBaseT has become a global digital connectivity standard with a large and varied product ecosystem that includes video distribution equipment, displays, projectors and AV receivers from more than 90 manufacturers.

The tvONEA CORIOmaster miniA features a breakthrough 1RU design that packs real video processing punch. Up to 12 Universal DVI ports (or up to 18 SDI ports) fit within the mini’s frame. Because a fully loaded mini requiring less than 150 watts, users can save up to 10X the power compared to a traditional rack loaded with individual components.

The tvONE 1T-CT-653/654 HDMI over Single CAT 5e/6 transmitters can achieve signal distribution distances of up to 100 meters (325 feet) for uncompressed 1080p signals without signal degradation. Control signals can be passed via Ethernet, Infrared or RS-232. PoH (Power over HDBaseT) technology is employed to allow powering of the Receiver from the Transmitter, negating the need for a separate power supply for that unit.

“Our broadcast industry customers turn to us for help designing live events, advanced video walls and unique multi-display environments, and providing them with HDBaseT-enabled products helps them save a significant amount of time and money while building these projects,” said Andy Fliss, director of marketing, tvONE. “HDBaseT helps our customers overcome the distance and labor-intensive hurdles common to other connectivity technologies.”

“tvONE has established itself in the broadcast market as a manufacturer that can help companies leverage the HDBaseT technology to reduce the costs and complexities of installations,” said Micha Risling, Marketing Committee Chair, the HDBaseT Alliance. “The HDBaseT Alliance is making significant inroads into the broadcast market because of the high quality and expertise members like tvONE provide.”
