Indy Audio Labs Names HWPco to Represent Southeastern Market

Indianapolis, IN – February 14, 2018 – Indy Audio Labs, market leader in immersive home cinema processing and amplification, and owner of the high-performance audio brands Acurus and Aragon, announce HWPco as its new manufacturer’s representative for Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Founded in 1970, HWPco’s mission is to bring quality products and solutions, coupled with technical expertise, to their many industry partners and customers. HWPco represents multiple manufacturers within the categories of Audio, Video, Infrastructure and Security.

Chip Carter, Business Unit Lead / Consumer Electronics Systems Group, is an industry veteran who has run successful rep firms in the past and has worked directly with many major brands and manufacturers in the industry. Carter states, “This is a great opportunity to lead the CES unit and build it to be a ‘best in class’ group, just like HWPco’s other units. We are excited to represent Aragon and Acurus and work together with them to grow the Southeastern market.”

Indy Audio Labs launched its highly-acclaimed Acurus ACT 4 13.3 immersive pre-amp processor featuring Dolby Atmos and DTS:X in late 2016. The ACT 4 features HDMI 2.0b HDR support with a current MSRP of $9,500 US and is the only authentically USA-engineered and manufactured high-performance, multi-format immersive surround processor on the market. It provides both installers and homeowners with a totally unique high-end cinema experience that breaks through the performance and channel-count limitations of both AVRs and other separate preamp processors.

According to Ted Moore, Indy Audio Labs’ CTO, “We’re very excited to welcome HWPco to the IAL family of professional sales representatives in the USA. With their long history of product representation, we can count on them to bring our products to customers in the Southeastern U.S. Their commitment to service and integrity are hugely important to our brand strategy and we’re looking forward to working with HWPco to expand awareness of our Acurus and Aragon solutions.”
