After record dealer attendance over the last two weeks, SI bolsters online training offering to include shade and screen category sessions.
Noted as a huge growth area and revenue-building opportunity for home systems integrators, motorized shading is a topic that integrators are eagerly pursuing to learn more about. Screen Innovations is doing its part by offering free online training sessions throughout the month of April. Integrators are invited to register to attend any of SI’s informative webinars, which cover topics such as utilizing Zigbee 3.0 in shading installations, how to streamline the installation process, utilizing SI’s innovative Flow ordering program, a tutorial on SI’s wired and wireless options, and more.
“The shade training has been designed to be relevant and impactful to both inexperienced integrators and seasoned professionals, so no matter the skill level of the attendee, there will be something beneficial for everyone,” says SI Director of Training Sasha Osadchy. “The goal isn’t to just teach the integrators about these topics but to show them how they can use their learnings to grow their business. Everything is about ensuring that our integrators are as successful as possible.”
Launched in early April, the online learning sessions have touched a chord with integrators, with nearly 200 integrators attending a recent 90-minute “stay-at-home” shade webinar. And the verdict is in: Integrators are loving the depth of information and the engaging and entertaining delivery of the SI presenters.
“This is the way webinars should be done. The presenter was creative, knowledgeable, engaging, entertaining, informative, and even for as long as the presentation lasted, he did a great job on keeping our attention,” remarks David Holloway of MDH Automation Inc. “This was not one of those webinars that put me to sleep even after a good night’s sleep. I look forward to the additional training on ZEN outdoor shades and more.”
SI will continue to host between three and four shade training sessions per week (as well as online training focusing on motorized screens) throughout April.
