Luxul PoE+ AV Managed Switch Line Now Supported in Just Add Power System Configuration Software
SEMINOLE, Fla. — Dec. 17, 2024 — Just Add Power, a leader in AV-over-IP distribution, today announced that its Advanced Matrix Programmer (AMP) configuration software supports the full lineup of Luxul SW Series Managed PoE+ AV switches. The AMP software platform provides configuration for systems using MaxColor™ 4K60 Series devices, as well as those from the company’s 3G Ultra and legacy 2G Omega product lines.
The Luxul SW Series switch family introduces a refreshed user interface with a streamlined setup process, enhancing the installation experience in AV-over-IP (AVoIP) environments. The SW Series includes eight managed switches that allow systems integrators to quickly set up, install, and manage any AVoIP infrastructure with enough PoE+ to power many network devices.

Just Add Power’s AMP consolidates and streamlines the process of setting up individual Just Add Power devices — discovering them on the local network, presenting them in a list, and allowing installers to name them, configure their IP addresses, and assign channels to transmitters — while assisting with updates when new firmware is released. Now, with support for Luxul’s SW Series switch family, AMP will set up both the individual Just Add Power devices and the Luxul SW Series network switch.
Once the Just Add Power system is configured, AMP also provides a user interface that can be used to control source switching.
Luxul SW Series managed PoE+ AV gigabit switches feature an updated UI that simplifies setup and offers improved support for AVoIP installations. All eight models feature powerful PoE+ budgets ranging from 130W to 740W and come in a variety of port counts, from eight all the way up to 48 PoE+ ports, with rear and front port orientation options. They’re ideal for supporting reliable, 24/7 display operation in conference rooms, small offices, or other AVoIP applications.
