LED SOURCE® WELCOMES NEW VP OF SALES

(Wellington, Fla.)— LED SourceA®, an international supplier of LED lighting, has announced a new vice president of sales. Griffin Palmer brings more than 20 years of sales, marketing and operation experience in the LED, lighting, video and entertainment technology sectors to LED Source.

Palmer was owner and CEO of CORE Systems, an AV and lighting system integrator based in Houston, Texas, where he worked with clients like Dave & Buster’s, House of Blues, Hard Rock Café, Marriott and Disney. He was also vice president of sales at High End Systems, an Austin, Texas-based entertainment technology and software firm. Most recently, Palmer worked for Barco doing business development for LED visual displays, DLP projection, digital image processing and LED lighting.

He has a great deal of experience with sales and specifically within the LED lighting industry, making him a perfect fit,” said Marcel Fairbairn, president and CEO of LED Source. “We are looking forward to continuing to grow at a rapid pace and Grif will play a key role in that.”

Palmer has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Texas at Austin and has completed executive courses at the Red McCombs Business School at the University of Texas. He has been a speaker and presenter at numerous tradeshows, active in the event and production community and was an advisory board member for Entertainment Design/LDI and Oxford Publishing.
