Marietta, GA – Aveo Systems has added the capability to control lighting and automated shades along with AV equipment in a room. With the addition of support for Lutron GRAFIK Eye QS and RadioRA2 lighting systems, users may now manage lighting zones and select preset scenes for lighting and blinds/shades. Mira Connect will recall scenes and provide zone control by communicating with the lighting system via a Lutron network interface.
Configuration of Mira Connect to accommodate Lutron lighting control is achieved through Aveo Systems’ Mira Portal cloud-based interface. Setup is achieved through menu selection, with no additional programming needed. Once the desired lighting scenes and zones are entered, the Mira Connect user interface is created automatically. A “Lighting” icon on Mira Connect brings up touch buttons on the screen for the selected presets. This control appears in addition to all other controls for audio, cameras, monitors and other AV equipment in the room. When multiple Mira Connect units are in use at an enterprise, each room will have controls specific to that room but the user interface will provide a consistent experience from room to room.
