NanoLumens® to Host Second Las Vegas Panel Discussion on ‘Story Telling Through Technology’

NanoLumens, the award-winning creators of uniquely compelling interactive LED visualization solutions in any size, shape, or curvature, today announced that it will host a second panel discussion at its Las Vegas Showroom on June 6, 2018 featuring HighStreet Collective Co-Founder Ed King, guest experience visionary James Keppel, and DailyDOOH Co-Founder & Editor Adrian Cotterill, who will moderate the panel discussion. Registration to attend the event is open here.

“Customer engagement, in all of its many and varied forms, increasingly involves story telling through the filter of integrated audiovisual experiences that form a stronger bond between the teller and the audience,” said NanoLumens Vice President of Global Marketing Joe’ Lloyd. “Ed, James, and Adrian are three of the most forward-looking technology visionaries at work in the industry today and their insights into the technologies that are shaping our future are certain to stimulate a lively and engaging conversation.”

Ed King is the Co-Founder, with Laura Davis-Taylor, of HighStreet Collective, a group of retail innovation, digital and customer experience consultants who are on a mission to remake retail. HighStreet, and its Collective partners, help retailers, brands and service providers understand today’s digitally connected shoppers, and build innovative retail experiences that get people off the couch and back into the store.

“We are hyper-focused on removing friction and innovating the in-store shopping experience for today’s shopper,” King emphasized today. “Thanks to technology and ecommerce, shoppers’ expectations continue to rise, while the rate of innovation at retail has lagged behind. Serving retailers and service providers alike, HighStreet helps close this ‘experience gap’ by giving shoppers meaningful reasons to come back into the store. I look forward to sharing our philosophy at the NanoLumens event on June 6th.”

A former member of the Board of Directors of the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) and a regular contributor to the SEGD publication Messages, James Keppel creates guest experiences for places where people gather, socialize, and participate. Some of his signature projects include San Jose Arena (Compaq Center/HP Pavilion/SAP Center), Apple Park in Cupertino, California; San Francisco’s Exploratorium; Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles; the San Francisco Zoo; Guadalupe River Park & Gardens in San Jose, California; and Westfield San Francisco Centre.

“My role in the universe is to shape how people experience places through urban planning, architecture, experiential graphics, placemaking, digital signage, brand design, technology, and almost everything in between,” Keppel said today. “I look forward to sharing my thoughts on all of these subjects at the NanoLumens event.”

Commenting on the panel he will moderate, Cotterill, noted that, “NanoLumens continue to make great use of their Las Vegas Visualization Center and I’m delighted to, once again, be asked to moderate a discussion amongst two industry experts and the invited audience. Ed and James have so much insight to offer the AV industry and during the evening, my job is a simple one, to aid the flow of conversation in order that the audience gets the best out of the guest panel.”

The panel discussion will take place June 6, 2018 at the NanoLumens Las Vegas Visualization Center, which is located at 5275 South Arville Street, Suite 328. To get the most from this event via social media you might like to follow on twitter; @NanoLumens @dailydooh @HighStRetail @jkeppel.
