Discover Video Introduces New IPTV HD Streaming Appliance at Infocomm

The SCORPION IPTV appliance is a dedicated multichannel audio/video live streaming encoder system. The SCORPION is available as a stand-alone single channel unit or can be configured as a rack system supporting up to 8 channels in a 19 inch 1 RU chassis. Each encoder supports HDMI video and 3.5 mm analog audio input, and H264/AAC-LC encoding and streaming RTMP/RTSP/HLS/UDP up to 1920x1080p. Each encoder has its own Ethernet connection to help reduce potential bandwidth issues and eliminates a single point of failure.
