Optoma has launched the ZU1050 – its new flagship 10,000-lumen professional installation laser projector.
This model is suited to applications including simulation, live events, museums and lecture theatres. It has been designed for complex installations with seven interchangeable lens options for maximum flexibility.
For large-scale projection or stacking, the ZU1050 features built-in edge-blending and warping. It also offers portrait and 360° orientation support as well as 24/7 operation. Additionally, an HDBaseT input is included to simplify cabling requirements and reduce installation complexity, saving time and reducing costs.
The ZU1050 also achieves superior colour rendition through MCL technology which combines red and blue laser diodes to enhance colour performance and deliver visually striking lifelike images with exceptional detail.
James Fursse, technical product manager at Optoma Europe, commented: “The ZU1050 joins our ProScene range of DuraCore laser projectors. Aside from the excellent reliability and performance, DuraCore technology means virtually maintenance-free operation. The ZU1050 is suitable for all types of installations with multiple lens options including an ultra short throw lens and single-projector dome lens.”
