Pink Noise employs dB Technologies system for Chicago Festival Cubano

) provided sound reinforcement for the annual Festival Cubano this year, August 15-17 in Chicago.

Now in its fifth year, the three-day summer festival is recognized as one of the largest and elite Latino family festivals in the nation. Festival Cubano is a high quality, authentic experience that features the best of Cuba’s rich, colorful and lively culture.

This year’s lineup included Frankie Ruiz, Eddie Santiago, Falardo Jr., El Gran Combo and the African-Cuban funk band Palo. The concerts drew crowds of over 25,000.

For the event, Pink Noise provided sound reinforcement equipment from loudspeaker manufacturer dB Technologies. The system was comprised of 12 DVA-T12 and 4 DVA-T8 active three-way line array cabinets, flown eight per side; plus 8 DVA-S30 dual 18” subwoofers. Pink Noise also be used RCF NX-L24A active column cabinets coupled with DVA-S20DP active double 18” subwoofers for sidefills. 10 dB Technologies DVX-DM15 15” two-way stage monitors will be utilized on the stage.
