The new stripper is now available with an MSRP of $16.25.

“Our new Slit & Ring Fiber Cable Stripper is designed to slit and ring cables, buffer tubes and jackets on fiber optic cables with diameter ranges of 1.2mm to 6.4mm,” explained John Phillips, Platinum Tools, Inc. product manager. “It is intentionally made to be light and small, making it easy to use in confined spaces.”

Additional features and specifications include:

  • Slitting V-block is removable and reversible to accommodate various diameters
  • Adjustable slit blade and ring blade for exact strip cut depth
  • LHW: 2.7in. (72.9 mm); 2.09in. (52.97mm); 0.47in (12mm)
  • Weight: less than 1 oz.
  • Replacement blades also available (p/n 15063C)
