Lifting the wraps of LED at InfoComm 09

Set to be a huge success and crowd puller at InfoComm 09, projectiondesign will lift the wraps off one of the most exciting products to be introduced by the company. The FL32 projector is projectiondesign’s first solid-state LED-based projection system that uses the company’s new RealLEDâ„¢ technology resulting in greatly enhanced image performance and ultra-low maintenance. ReaLED technology is projectiondesign’s unique implementation of high performance solid state LED illumination technology, paired with the patented optical system of the F32 platform projectors. The FL32 is set to greatly reduce operating costs, and features a 100,000-hour life illumination system.

3D capable projectors widen access to 3D applications

Since making its global debut at last year’s InfoComm, projectiondesign’s active stereoscopic 3D projector, the F10 AS3D has earned worldwide praise from the audio visual and visualization community for its ability to provide convincing and compelling 3D imagery from a single, portable device, and this year the company will be showing that, as well as F32 and F22 3D stereo projectors using INFITEC technology, and F80 1080 optimized for ColorCode 3-Dâ„¢ to deliver large screen passive stereo images.

As part of the InfoComm 09 education sessions, David Aleksandersen, CPS Training Program Manager at projectiondesign will present an informative and in-depth introduction to 3D stereoscopic visualization at 12:30p.m. to 2:00p.m. on Thursday, June18th in room W311H. 1080p and WUXGA resolutions become standard

Making their InfoComm debut will be the company’s new F12, F22 and F32 single-chip DLPA® projectors, which all utilize Philips’ VIDI technology for enhanced colors and color management, improved image quality and performance predictability.

In particular, projectiondesign will be highlighting its entire range of single-chip DLP models in SXGA+, 1080p, or WUXGA resolutions.

For large-venue applications, projectiondesign’s popular F80 3-chip DLP projector will feature at InfoComm 09 in both WUXGA and 1080p formats.

Sponsorship of education sessions at InfoComm 09

As an official InfoComm 09 education sponsor, projectiondesign will exclusively supply all training and meeting rooms at InfoComm 09 with a variety of cutting edge DLP projectors including the 1080 and WUXGA resolution models. These will be used for the display of a wide range of educational presentation material, high-resolution computer graphics and video throughout the duration of InfoComm.

Commenting on the company’s InfoComm 09 presence, Anders LA¸kke, International Marketing and Communications Manager at projectiondesign, says: “In terms of audiovisual presentation and display technology, nothing beats InfoComm for scale or global influence. This is where the world’s AV decision-makers come to survey the latest product developments, so it is only fitting that we should have our widest-ever range of technologies on display in Orlando this year.

“At the same time, the past couple of years have seen highly accurate, consistent, and customizable video projection solutions, of exactly the kind that we provide, being embraced by many more markets. So InfoComm 09 gives us an opportunity to show how our projectors can enhance workflow and improve the end-user experience in many different applications, from education and medical to industrial visualization, simulation, e-Cinema, and places of worship.

“It is this breadth of application that has helped the AV business to stand tall in the face of the tough economic climate, and we are looking forward to a very busy and successful three days in Florida.”?

projectiondesign will exhibit at Booth #3761 at InfoComm 09 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL, from June 17–19 2009.
