Prysm, a leading provider of large-format laser phosphor display (LPD) screens that create unrivaled immersion and engagement, announces an initiative with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization dedicated to global reforestation, to emphasize the company’s corporate responsibility and sustainability. At InfoComm 2024, Prysm will host a campaign to plant a tree for every badge scanned at their booth. Additionally, for every display purchased during the event, Prysm will fund the planting of an entire forest.
Committed to corporate responsibility and sustainability, Prysm is embarking on a mission to make a tangible difference on our planet, one tree at a time. Trees play an invaluable role in maintaining the health of our environment, providing essential benefits such as clean air, water filtration and biodiversity conservation. Additionally, trees provide a myriad of job opportunities, with approximately 1.6 billion people depending on forests for their livelihoods.
At InfoComm 2024, Prysm is launching an initiative to plant a tree for every badge scanned at their booth. Further, for every display purchased during the event, Prysm will fund the planting of 2,000 to 4,000 trees — equivalent to a small forest. By simply participating in InfoComm 2024, attendees will have the opportunity to join Prysm and One Tree Planted in making a positive impact on the environment and advancing towards a greener future.
“With our initiative to support One Tree Planted, Prysm is taking a proactive approach to environmental stewardship,” said Amit Jain, president and chief executive officer for Prysm. “We recognize the critical importance of trees in sustaining our planet, and through this partnership, we are proud to contribute to global reforestation efforts.”
“We are grateful for Prysm’s commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.” said Michelle Senthivel, Sr. Account Manager at One Tree Planted. “With their support, we are restoring forests, creating habitat for biodiversity, and making a positive social impact.”
A global nonprofit, One Tree Planted has undertaken projects across North America, spanning over a dozen states within the United States of America, six Canadian provinces and extending into Mexico. Driven by a commitment to restoring and preserving natural habitats, One Tree Planted tackles a variety of ecological challenges. In regions devastated by catastrophic wildfires, such as Paradise, California, the organization’s efforts focus on replenishing forests and regenerating landscapes, providing hope for communities grappling with environmental destruction.
Prysm invites attendees of InfoComm 2024 to visit their booth (W1673) and join the movement towards a more sustainable future. Together, we can make a difference.
