RCF announces the introduction of the new HDL30-A line array with a product demonstration scheduled as part of the LDI Live Outside convention November 18-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The HDL30-A is the latest addition to the RCF HDL line array family. Touted as, “a lightweight champion with an impressive punch,” it is a compact bi-amped two-way active tour-grade system for medium to large events, both indoors and outdoors.
The RCF HDL 30-A features two 10” neodymium woofers coupled with a 4” titanium high-frequency compression driver mounted on a time coherent 4 PATH waveguide.
Incorporating new FiRPHASE DSP technology, the HDL 30-A is the first line array in a composite cabinet with zero-degree phase and ultra-linear amplitude response. The built-in 2200-watt auto-switching class-D amplifier delivers excellent playback clarity and up to 137 dB max SPL with frequency response from 50 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
For touring, the cabinet offers a lightweight design – only 55 pounds – and new rigging hardware that allows for array angles to be set before the cabinets are flown. These features significantly reduce manpower hours and cartage. Up to 20 HDL30-A modules can be flown on a single flybar.
RCF has incorporated RDNet technology into the cabinets, giving real-time remote control and monitoring and testing capability of all components from the FOH position; allows for adjustments of equalization, gain and delay; provides capability of read out of tilt angles with the built-in inclinometer; and provides capability of grouping modules together in arrays that can be stored as presets for control capabilities.
At LDI Live Outside, RCF will be demonstrating a system comprised of (24) HDL30-A with (12) SUB9006-AS dual 18” 7200-watt active subwoofers. Demonstration times: Friday, November 18: Noon, 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m. & 5:30 p.m and Saturday, Novmember 19: 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m.
